Artist Michael Cross has installed a site specific piece he calls Bridge. One crosses the flooded room via a mechanism that, activated by the user's weight, causes the next tread to emerge from the water and the previous one to recede. I'd like to see how the mechanism works.

Hello, thanks for posting about my work. The bridge in the picture was at Dilston Grove in London in 2006, but as luck would have it I'm right now working on a new (and much better) one which will be opening on the 29th of May this year. I can't tell you the venue yet because it's still not 100% confirmed, but it's in Belgium. If anyone's interested keep an eye on my website's Bridge pages over the next few weeks.
